Connecting to your ISP for Web Browsing
- Double-tap your ISP icon that you just created in the previous
section. (Example: AT&T WorldNet)

- In the Username text box, type your Username provided by your
ISP.
- In the Password text box, type your ISP password.
- Make sure that the Domain text box is left blank. The Domain box is
usually used if you are dialing into a corporate dial-up connection.

- Verify the phone number is correct and tap the Connect
button. If the phone number is not correct, tap the Dial
Properties button and make the necessary changes. Then, tap the Connect
button.
- You will get a dialog box on the screen showing the status of your
connection. Your device will beep and display a "Connected"
dialog box when connection is achieved. Choose the "Hide"
option to have full use of the screen.
- To disconnect from your ISP at any time, Double-click the double
computer icon at the bottom of the screen. From the dialog box that
appears choose the "Disconnect" option.
- If you are using a Palm-size PC, you will need a browser to browse
the web. Pocket Internet Explorer only ships on the Handheld PC, so
iBrowser by Foliage Software Systems makes a great browsing
alternative for the Palm-size PC. While connected to your ISP, you can
now browse the web, using the iBrowser application. To use iBrowser:
- Install iBrowser to the Palm-size PC
- Tap on Start, Programs, and tap iBrowser.
- In the box at the top of the screen, enter your desired web site
address.
- Tap Enter on the keyboard to browse to the site.
