Best Pocket PC Software

Nominations for Pocket PC magazine’s Best Software Awards

The nominations list that follows may seem huge, but it represents only a fraction of the Pocket PC software available!

Over the past year, Diane Dumas (diane@pocketpcmag.com), our New Products Editor, painstakingly collected and categorized nearly 3,000 products in our Encyclopedia of Software and Accessories (http://www.pocketpcmag.com/encyclopedia.asp). From that database Diane and our Board of Experts selected the best titles within each of 70 end-user software categories. The results are described in this section, the Nominations for Pocket PC magazine’s Best Software Awards 2004.

For the complete, up-to-date, categorized, searchable list of Windows Mobile software and accessories visit our Encyclopedia any time. At the Encyclopedia Web page, developers will find a link where they can submit descriptions of their products.

Despite our best efforts, given the magnitude of the task, it’s inevitable that some excellent titles may have slipped through the cracks. If you think we missed a product that should have been nominated, there is a form at the Best Software Awards home page (http://www.PocketPCmag.com/awards) for your suggestion. You can also make your thoughts known or recommend who you think should win at the Best Software Awards forum (http://www.pocketpcmag.com/forum).
