For over a year, we have been working on a major re-design of our Web site. Central to that effort is a special VIP sub-site for subscribers and newsstand buyers of our magazine. We believe VIP privileges are so significant that many of our Web visitors will want to become a VIP, and consider the subscription to our print or digital version of the magazine a bonus.
Eventually, we will most likely unbundled the VIP program and subscriptions, and charge extra for the combination. That means you will want to subscribe or renew now to keep your cost at a minimum.
Highlights of the VIP site will include:

- Access to 100's of Pocket PC and Smartphone tips and how-to's categorized by topic, device/operating system (e.g. Windows Mobile 5.0 Smartphone), and ordered by user level from novice to advanced.
- Individualized online technical support about everything Windows Mobile.
- Access to online version of the current issue of Smartphone & Pocket PC, so you can easily search and traverse its many URL references.
- Free stuff, discount coupons, contests.
- In depth articles not found anywhere else. The first will be an expansion of the GPS article found in this issue.

Although we thought we were conservative in our estimates, this complex project has taken longer than we had hoped. In some of our literature for potential subscribers and renewals, we promised that the VIP site would be ready this summer 2006.
