Although many excellent Pocket PCs are available from a variety of manufacturers, Hewlett-Packard has the lion's share of the market. Not only do they sell more Pocket PCs than anyone else, they offer a greater variety of models, and have a larger selection of accessories than any other Windows Mobile manufacturer. We describe below the most important of these and why you might need them. Most of these are not urgent purchases. If you already know what you want, go ahead and get your accessories. But if you are a new owner of an iPAQ, use it for a while and get a feel for its capabilities. Then take a look at the available accessories and see how you might want to expand your iPAQ's potential.

Replacements for standard accessories
Every iPAQ Pocket PC ships with standard accessories, which include at least one stylus, an AC power adapter, and a synchronization/charging cradle or cable. In addition, most iPAQs ship with a user-replaceable rechargeable battery and a carrying case. Replacements for these accessories are available from Hewlett-Packard. (Note: HP will replace malfunctioning standard accessories free of charge while your device is under warranty.)
Bluetooth Stereo Headphones
The HP Bluetooth stereo headphones connect to your Bluetooth-equipped iPAQ wirelessly and let you listen to MP3s, video, or any audio files within 30 feet of your device. The "behind the head" design gives your headphones a secure fit when you're on the move.
