Pocket PC magazines Best Software Awards celebrates the efforts of developers whose products increase the enjoyment and productivity of Windows Mobile Pocket PC and Smartphone users. A complete explanation of the awards and the process can be found on our Web site (http://www.PocketPCmag.com/awards).
Only products and versions released and nominated by July 15, 2005 were eligible. 90 experts in Pocket PC and Smartphone software from around the world vote to determine the award winners. These experts include prominent Web site owners, Microsoft Pocket PC MVPs, Pocket PC magazine support forum contributors, and Pocket PC magazine authors.
All nominees came from the complete, up-to-date, categorized, searchable list of Windows Mobile software and accessories in our Encyclopedia of Software and Accessories (http://www.pocketpcmag.com/encyclopedia.asp). Product developers can submit information on their wares for inclusion in the Encyclopedia by clicking on the Submit Products Here link on this page.
We have divided the nominations into three sections.
Pocket PC End-User Software: Over 500 products in 85 categories have been nominated by Pocket PC magazine staff and the Board of Experts.
