Garmin introduces new GPS-enabled Pocket PC

Garmin recently introduced the iQue M3, a GPS-enabled Pocket PC based on the Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition software. The M3 is near-identical to their original iQue M5, which we reviewed in the May 2005 issue (http://www.pocketpcmag.com/_archives/may05/garmin.aspx).

Priced around $530, the iQue M3 is considerably less expensive than the $750 M5. It lacks the integrated Bluetooth capability of the M5 and is powered by the 312 MHz Intel PXA271 processor instead of the M5s 416 MHz PXA272. Like the M5 it has 64 MB of RAM, but it only has 32 MB of flash ROM.

More information is available on the Garmin Web site.
