I was fortune enough to be able to visit Israel last February to celebrate my and Israel's 60th birthday. Let us pray that fear, hatred, and distrust can leave the Middle East, so everyone will feel comfortable visiting this ancient, beautiful, and holy land to so many.

 After 11 years, we will be publishing a final 2008 issue of Smartphone & Pocket PC magazine and then suspend publication! We are working hard to make it the best Windows Mobile issue ever, a keeper, a reference guide. In 2009 we will publish Smartphone magazine’s iPhone Life. Below, I’ve attempted to answer questions that have been asked of me: 

We are soon making public many 100's of well-constructed tips and how-to's. Microsoft liked them so much that they purchased a portion of them for their web site.

Our judges are getting ready to vote in the 8th annual Best Software Awards. For almost three weeks a draft of the nominations has been public. The public until is invited to suggest nominations or that product should be un-nominated until Wed, July 16.

Smartphone & Pocket PC magazine’s 8^th annual Best Software Awards is in full swing. The awards help users select the best Windows Mobile applications, utilities, and games, while honoring companies that produce outstanding software.

On Monday Steve Jobs of Apple announced the $199 iPhone 3G that will ship mid-July. Our iPhone Edition of Smartphone & Pocket PC magazine will be available on newsstands mid-August. Note that if you are a Windows Mobile subscriber, you will receive the Aug/Sept and Oct/Nov issues of the Windows Mobile Edition. Strange. We recently put up this blog site with the new look and underlying Drupal Content Management System. Nobody seemed to be commenting. Was it because we asked people to register? (We only ask for valid E-mail address which helps eliminate spam). Did it have to do with the new look?  Long story. It turns out, people were commenting!!!! However, counter on the blog stating number of comments was not being incremented, discouraging new comments and replies.
