I am trying to do a exchange server sync with smasung i600 . We are not using the private IP of the exchange server as the public IP is available So we are not connecting to a VPN server. We connect to the Internet through GPRS & can do the OWA successfully but when doing the exchange server sync it gives us the error internet_2, I have disabled the certificate check through disablecertchk utility, Can Anyone help please?

Internet_ 2 error is a timeout error, probably to do with authentication. Check out the following linkhttp://hardware.mcse.ms/archive35-2004-9-85252.html

Hey Thnk for the concern,
The article you have forwarded stated that one needs to wait for a minute alteast after connecting to the Internet and then the VPN server before starting the synchronizaton but In my case , I am not connecting to VPN server as I am using a public IP of exchange server..Pls help..

Hmmm, How are you authenticating/logging on?
Our deployment involves 3 boxes. A front end with Internet OWA and 2 backend boxes with the mailboxes. We do not sync with the front end but with the backend using a GPRS dedicated connection ( so not through internet). Basically it means that the GPRS netwerk is an extension to our own network.
Maybe check the exchange config?

I apologize if this is an inappropriate question but where can I get that utility to disable checking for the certificate? I think that I cant synchronize with my company mail server because they made their own certificate. thank you for your patience.
