A company called Silex in japan manufactures a wireless USB device server. Apparently this also handles a USB mass storage device.
Now you have access to gigs of storage space wireless at home or in the office. No PC required. Making this setup like on demand file access.

Checking some online dealers the price seems to be $129.00 USD and seems a little pricey but if you can afford it, seems like a good product to utilize. No more waiting for the PC to boot.
Not sure how media files like mp3's or video's are handled but if you are able to stream them across, this could prove to be real handy.
