I'm ordering a slightly used NEC 900c from ebay. I've been using an Audiovox 6600 (PPC 2003) for awhile now, but giving up on convergence....for now.
Now I'm just wondering...do all PPC 2003 apps work on this? What about MSN, and internet explorer, etc..?
What's the typical battery life (i know "they" say 8 hours)?
I ordered a 16 bit PCMCIA type 2 Edge/Gprs card. It should work, but does anyone have any experience with these?
Anything I should know about the device?

I too bought a NEC 900(C). Battery ran only about 1 1/2 hours using text only. So...I bought a NEW heavy-duty battery from Thaddeus (Usedhandhelds.com) and it works just fine. Gets about 7 or 8 hours run time (text only). Am very satisfied. ONLY ... I WISH I could get dos (pocket dos) ato run, but do not know how. I downloaded pocketdos.exe but can't get active syunc to run (Ho Hum(.
