I own a Dell AXIM X50 Pocket PC. I’m looking for a software program That will allow me to speak into my pocket PC and the progam types what I’m saying into pocket word or note pad.
I want it to work on the fly not have it sent to anther program or e-mailed like some program work. Any suggestions
Thanks In Advance

Forget it. There were some attempts at this but all of them were pretty unsuccessful. This would require far more processing power and far more dynamic memory.
It's only voice controller apps that work (to a certain degree), not free speech-to-text translators.

That is exactly how I'm beginning to see it, there seems to be nothing out there except the command voice recognition, Which I don’t need.
I even thought to my self it must be an issue with memory and the large dictionary need for the recognition.
Thanks for taking the time to help me out

I am looking for something related. Not really finding what I need - don't know if it exists. Is anyone familiar with free speech-to-text software that can be installed on laptop. I'd like to have it transcribe university lectures so voice traing is out.

Did you ever find a solution? I know of situations where individuals record something in MP3 and then move the file to their desktop for processing and then convert to words.

Hi Jalenz,
I purchased Dragon 8 speak into my pocket recorder and convert the audio to text. It works OK but takes some work, because what you say is not always what you get
