Hi,
I am interested in using a CF wifi card for the Jornada 820 for internet access via 802.11 a/b. Is this possible on this old CE Pro device? If so what are the step to configure this and what vendor makes a compatible wifi card for the 820?

802.11b is possible. try to get a lucent wavelan card for example. most cards with the agere chipset or the prism chipset will work. they must be 16 bit. also, try to search the forum on this topic.

ah i see now you want CF wifi. then get one with the prism chipset. most have that chipset, asus, senao, dlink (dlink dcf660w might not be fully standard prism but does have 2.11 drivers iirc), hawking, etc...
