Hi and thanks in advance. I bought a Cingular branded, unlocked 6515. I have T-Mobile with T-Mobile Web. I put the SIM from my Motorola into the 6515 and phone works great, can sync with my PC but I can't get on the net. I connect via GPRS, open IE and type in a page, the MS flag just keeps waving and after a minute i get "Error 502-Bad Request. The server could not resolve your request for url:/" The device connects to internet (thru PC) when USB connected to PC. Any help appreciated.

I just bought one of these items and I am on TMOBILE. Would you mind telling me how you fixed the problem so I can fix it if it arises?
Thanks,
Tony

These are the settings that finally worked for the Ipaq 6515. I use the $5.99/month T-Mobile Internet plan but can acess regular http pages just fine now...
This is for the Ipaq 6515 WM3
1. Tap Start then "settings",
then "Connections",
the "connections" again
then make sure to remove any proxy setup you have and to remove all previous connections, by clicking "Manage existing connections" and then deleting the connections you see until there all gone.
2. Do a soft reset. And go back into the connections screen under "My Work Network" add a new connections, "add new modem connection" with the following settings:
Access Point: wap.voicestream.com
User Name:
Password:
Primary/Secondary DNS: Leave Blank
IP Address: Leave Blank
3. Now setup the Proxy with this Settings:
Tap
"Setup Proxy Server"
This network connects to the internet: Check Box
This network uses a proxy server to connect to the internet: Check Box
Click "Advanced"
HTTP - 216.155.165.50 - Port 8080 (do not keep as just 80)
WAP - 216.155.165.50 - Port: 9201
Secure - 216.155.165.50 - Port: 9201 (yes, 9201...Do Not change to 9203 unless you see issues with certain pages)
Now tap "Ok" and now that you are back to the connections screen Tap "Advanced" on the bottom and click on "Select Networks" button
For both drop down boxes select " My Work Network"
Now tap OK on all screens, you can now go in the internet, IE and Opera connect to the GPRS network automatically, after it connects just wait about 3-4 mins the first time you run it and then it will connect and you are now surfing. This is the part that messd me up cuz I kept messing with the settings if it did not work rite away so be patiente and try a soft reset after the new setting are in place to make sure it work.
Note: Opera shows the status unlike IE on the bottom of the screen so you will see it say "Connecting" then "loading" you can actually tap "OK" or enter to force to connect at this point :D
