Im looking for some software that will track my GPS location and create a log of times and distances travelled. A sample report could look like this This report from World GPS Solutions
But i would want this to run on WM5 or WM6 and ideally (but not absolutely necessarily) work with existing GPS navigation software such as Copilot or Tom Tom etc. Allowing not only GPS co-ordinates but listing destinations when used.
Is there anything available with a once off purchase price (not monthly subscription)
Thanks heaps![;)]
Thanks

There is a web-based tracking application that does this:
http://www.geocities.com/prestonsystems/mytracking
It does generate reports similar to what you posted, but it is done on a web page. I guess you can always print or download the reports if needed.
It has quite a few other features, like uploading of video/images, logging or real-time server updates, etc. As far as I know, personal use accounts are free.

Hi there, just saw this forum topic and thought I should add our software : Reperion - also known as FindYou in the USA.
Reperion is FREE GPS Tracking in Google Earth, Virtual Earth, Google Maps.
Upload your GPS positions from your PDA to Google Earth and see live GPS tracking in action.
Download the software here : www.reperion.com/newclient
and obtain your FREE GPS TRACKING account here : geocool.reperion.com/Web/user/CreateUser.aspx?
Here's an example :http://www.reperion.com/example (needs Google Earth installed!)
And here's a picture of it all in action :

I've tried making my own GPS tracking application and have to say that it had an impact on my battery life (partially because the bluetooth radio had to stay on as my phone has no integrated GPS receiver). Personally I found a dedicated GPS logger to work out better. For periods when some one else needs to know my location I found it to work out better to allow some one to SMS/e-mail my phone and set the phone to connect to the GPS receiver, get my location, then respond back to the person with a link showing my exact position.

You may try to look in www.gtteng.com
As I know, this company is doing GPS tracking as well.
You may ask them to provide DEMO website...

Hi,
I was new to GPS Tracking so I called a couple of companies.
If your in the same situation now, you might call universal tracking. Their guys explained me every thing about real tracking, passive tracking and even how the stuff works they don't sell. They had what I needed and referred me to other good companies for what they didn't have. Their website is www.universaltracking.com Even if you don't wanna buy you could get a good overview from them.
You can also come back to me first if you have questions...
I hope this helps...
Best wishes
