My old Handspring Prism is dying and I need to replace it. I was strongly considering the Palm TX, but I have major reservations about the reliability of its hardware. I started to consider Pocket PCs, and was impressed by the reviews of the Dell Axim x51. I was crushed to learn, however, that Dell no longer sells them. Can anyone name a reputable vendor I can get one from? What about extended warranties? I sure hope someone can help me!

I ordered one of mine from a reliable seller on ebay. The other I bought from a seller in the Buy and Sell forum at PocketPCThoughts.com. Both went without a hitch and I got exactly what I wanted. It also give you the ability to shop around. You might pose this question on the aximsite forum also.

I was hoping to find a new X51. I think I may have found one on a site called gizmos2go:
http://www.gizmos2go.com/product.php?productid=8827&cat=1731&page=1
It can be had with a two-year replacement warranty for an additional $100. I don't know much about them. How can I check them out? I'm a little leery of vendors that don't have a phone number.
I'd really appreciate your help on this.
Thanks!

If you can find an address, go to BBB.com and find the branch near the gizmo business and most have a way to check businesses out online.
