I was looking over the list and I think Pocket Aargon by Twilight Games should have been included in there. It is by far one of the best puzzle games I have seen. It is a rather simple looking lazer puzzle game, but dont let that fool you, it is very challenging.
I know its not new, so maybe thats why it was left out, but then again games like Myst still made it up there in the Adventure series (why that keeps showing up I dont know, god that was awful on ppc) and Links for golf when you cant even buy that game anymore.
I am probably posting too late to make a difference, but whatever, you guys said this forum is for feedback on the nominations so here's my 2 cents for all its worth. [;)]

Thanks XR1,
Yes, unfortunately it is too late as nominations were closed July 20 and the judges are almost finished with their voting.
You can make suggestions usinghttp://www.smartphonemag.com/survey/nominationsfeedback.htm. To be safe, if you remember, you can submit it again next June.
