I have a project where i am going to develop a complex gprs application.
I have developed numerous apps before for 802.11 but not gprs and they have all been fairly basic using mostly vb (appforge) and some codewarrior.
I am looking for advice on what would be the better os to develop for i.e
Microsoft® Windows® CE .NET 4.2
Windows Mobile™ 2003 software for Pocket PC
and what programming tools to use i.e. SDK for windows mobile 2003, powerbuilder - is this for developing the os?
language - embedded c++, c#.net
The current programming tools such as appforge may not be sufficient for the app i need to develop for.
The app will have a large DB and my company want me to try and develop GUI that may not have been used before i.e floating scroll bars.
any advice would be much appreciated

Just a friendly suggestion.
Refrain from posting the same message on multiple forums.
Not an effective method for getting responses and can even prevent you from getting the response you are lookinf for. Best to choose the right category like developers to begin with.
