Hi,
My Activesync is not communicating with my XV6700. I have no idea why and need to get this fixed. It has been this way for months.
I have tried to:
Download new versions of activesync on my pc (XP), and currently have 4.5 on there.
I have tried to set up new partnerships between the pc and 6700.
I have soft reset my 6700 and rebooted my desktop after the install.
I know the cable is working because oddly enough about once a month the sync seems to work. For a couple of months, it seemed to work around the 10th. Then this past 15th of March is miraculously synced on its own at 5am. I never set up any schedule for it.
I am at a total loss. Any ideas? I have perused the Chris De Herrera Activesync troubleshooting index already.

Did you have any resolution short of hard reset. I got a temporary reprieve by getting rid of other programs that synced the device on their own, but now problem again with recognition.

See my post relating to this product. I believe that this product is defective, and in spite of its price point, is unsafe for professional use. It is astonishing that a company like Microsoft would produce a product that puts important data in such jeopardy.
