Verizon needs to get their act together and offer a firmware upgrade for its xv6800 in order to compete against Sprint (are they still a competitor?) and the Iphone. That upgrade should include wm6.1, GPS functionality, and Rev.A.. These features can be obtained through various "hack" sites so what is wrong with Verizon's tech department?

Unfortunately, they suffer the same issue as most other carriers...the desire to make you buy a new device so they can make more money. It stinks because they know all carriers do itso you have little choice.
