I'm stuck. Tried everything to get WMDC to find my BlackJack ll. No luck with USB or Bluetooth. Any one have any idea. The phone syncs with Exchange over the air but not with my PC.
I have the same problem with My Vista PC. It cannot connect to my BlackJack II.
I am able to connect via active sync on my Win XP SP3 machine, which I finally tried after playing around all day with vista, however, I still want to use the Vista machine.
I ran WMDC and then ran the Sync Center to try to create a partnership but I keep getting this:
'There are no new sync partnerships that can be set up on this computer'
I don't need or use any other partnerships.
How do I get rid of that message and connect, please? I've already uninstalled and reinstalled WMDC using the disk that came with my phone.
The partnership wizard should start automatically after you connect your phone. Are you saying that this is not happening? Do you hear the connection sound?

Because I was using the ATT Tilt that created partnerships for me before, I believe that's why this is occurring. I need to get rid of those partnerships.
The other thing is, the partnership wizard is not starting automatically. I can't hear so I watch, but it isn't happening.

Hi,
Welcome to the Non-Touch screen forum.
Verify that Activesync is the selected option under Start > Settings > Connection > USB. Then re-connect your device.

Connect your Smartphone to your computer, then open Device Manager. Do you see your device under the Network Adapters node?

I'm using my Win XP computer now and am syncing fine with ActiveSync. I'm happy with it. Thank you for the suggestion anyway. :)
