I utilize some of my Outlook contacts as a database. Right now I have up to 30,000 characters of text entered in such contact note entries.
Even with the new 8GB i900 Omnia (6.1) from Samsung the content of notes in an Outlook contact is cut off.At 128 or 256 MB its understandable but with 8GB?Can the amount of characters synchronized be changed?

Hello KS,
There is indeed a limit of 5k on notes entries in Calendar and Contacts. Modify the registry key below on your device to increase the size. In the example below, we'll increase it to 20K.
Open a registry editor on your device and go to:
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Activesync. Set the value for BodyTruncation to 20480.
Restart your device.

Thanks a lot! So far no one could give me an answer - nor Microsoft in Germany nor HTC or Samsung. I am sure many more people use a Contact in Outlook as a Database. That's a great help.
