this is probably an old problem but i cannot make an internet connection with my ipaq 1950. i did a self test and got the message "your wifi is not associated to an access point. check your wifi settings" i have not set up any wireless routing. i don't know how to do that and i am a complete idiot when it comes to that type of thing and i am totally not computer savvy. i tried following the directions on how to set up wireless routing with this thing but i totally bombed. please help. i need step by step from the beginning. The easiest way to do this is step by step when we are both online. I don't have an iPAQ 1950 but the steps on a Pocket PC are more or less the same no matter which Pocket PC you may have.
Some information would be helpful. Do you have Wi-Fi set up and working with a PC? This would be the first step, configuring the Wi-Fi at the access point level and being sure a PC can connect.
The next step would be sharing how you plan on using Wi-Fi on your Pocket PC as well as where. Also it would be helpful to know where you wish to connect to the internet with your iPAQ. This is mostly so I don't break a connection you may have already have setup.
