I also have an xv6800, and had a dramatic battery drain with Winterface. I've since uninstalled. I'll wait for an update to see if there is an improvement!
Well, apparently you and I were the only 2 people who had a problem. Obviously nobody else replied to my post here and my email to Winterface's tech support went unanswered. I just upgraded to WM 6.1 and gave Winterface another try and it does not seem to have the same battery draining problem. If you have not upgraded to 6.1 you should do that and give Winterface another try.
