I just received the HP hw6945 Smartphone and attempted syncing to my laptop. It said that I would not have anything synced other than files and folders. That I had to download Outlook if I wanted to sync contacts, notes, etc. Do I need to download it to my SMARTPHONE or to my laptop? If it's the phone, how do I get it onto the phone? If I sync it will skip the outlook information entirely based on the message I got when I synced. Thanks for your help!! Kat

Your PocketPC Phone Edition already has the necesary, you must install MS Outlook on your PC to sync appointments, contacts, notes, etc.

I moved this over to General Touchscreen Support from Audio. I thought we might get more response on the subject in this forum.

Download Outlook to your desktop.
If you absolutely hate it, you can also use alternative (commercial) syncing programs making it possible to use for example Lotus Notes or Outlook Express instead.
