Alright so yes i have tried a hard and soft reset, and yes when i put headphones in the audio jack works, but not as well as it used to. My question is, what do i do to fix it? is it cheap to fix, or would i be better off just doing it myself, or just saving up a little more money and buying a x51v off the internet?

You might have luck in soldering a socket in there. Another, much safer solution is going the A2DP way.
