This, unfortunately, mostly depends on your handset model - not all current Windows Mobile devices are able to use a mono headset when not in a phone call. (I assume you're trying to use a mono headset and not "real" A2DP stereo headphones. With the latter, the sound transfer is very easy to set up.)

If your mobile phone suport bluetooth then you can easily play mp3 onn your bluetooth. YOu will have to buy bluetooth head set.
