XV6600 and the Motorola Bluetooth HT820

I just bought this phone from Verizon along with a Jabra BT-350 Headset. They work fine together. However, I have a problem with the Motorola HT820 Stereo/Phone Headset. It appears to pair okay with the VX6600. I can make calls with it, but I could not get my MediaPlayer music to come through the HT820. I called Verizon, they couldn't help me. I called Audiovox and they said that the XV6600 does not support Bluetooth stereo headphones and they don't know if they will have a patch so it will be able to. Does anyone else have this same problem. Did you get the HT820 to work?

I paired the HT820 with my HP iPaq H4155 PDA and it played music fine. But alas, it is not a phone also.

Thanks!
Ed

I am having the exact same problem with my HT820 headset and my Audiovox SMT5600 Smartphone. I cannot get music to play through the headset, although I can hear phone conversations. I'd love to know if anyone resolved this and how they did it.

I'm waiting for a response from Motorola Tech Support.

Just got the HT820’s. Paired them with my HTC 2125 and can not get music to play. Paired with my iPAQ H5550 and could play music if I pressed the left button on the HT820 but quality is about like tin can and string. Went back to the 2125 and tried the same thing and found that pressing the left button did a last number redial but no music.

Any word from Motorola on this? I’m guessing that they only intended for these to work with moto music phones and have not test with other devices.

Hey I just bought the HT820, and I have a Audiovox 6600. I can get the phone component to work, but windows media won't play the music through the headphones. I've been searching to see if I can download whatever drivers/programs needed to make it work, but I can't find anything. I'm mad because the headphones are advertised to work with all bluetooth equiped devices. So what do I do?? Do we take them back??

I have found the solution... The people at Verizon think we are stupid. Don't you know they told me my phone was capable of this feature. It's a driver issue people that's it... Once you install the following driver, you will see the audio feature in your bluetooth menu.
Go tohttp://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=0&prodSeriesId=322916&prodNameId=306698&swItem=PSG_I22475-107080&swEnvOid=2008&swLang=8&taskId=135&mode=3
Download it to you computer and install it with Active Sync like you would any other program on your phone. After this, your ht820 will work just fine... This is all Verizon or Audiovox had to do... Thanks HP...I'll keep this in my when I buy my next phone
