Share Dvd tools with Mac users!
Here is the result I want to share with Mac users:
1) Cost/Performance: Everybody wants to gain more with less money.
2) Speed: Nobody wants to waste too much time waiting.
3) Profile: Of course we want our software can convert all kinds of video formats.
4) Personal Demands: For example, someone just wants to convert part of the DVD video, or others want the special output video format like PSP compliant forms and etc.
5) Easy to use: we want to make things easy.

Best GPS software on micro SD card

I am new to using a pocket pc for GPS and I am wondering what the best software suite is if I do not purchase internet service on my phone.

I would prefer to be able to move the software to my own personal micro SD card, but it is not 100% required.

The only two software packages I have seen so far are the Garmin Mobile XT (which is micro SD, but u can't move it to another card), and co Pilot software (which looks like u can move it).

GPS for golf

I have a HP IPAQ 5900 series Travel Companion with Microsoft Windows Mobile 5. I am happy with the TomTom Navigator that came with it.

I want to use my device on the golf course as well. I do not want to buy golf specific software, I just want to have software that shows your position with which I can go to my local course and mark the middle of each green (something plain and simple that works like a Garmin eTrex or similar device).

Any suggestions?

GPS Skinner is a skinning engine that allows you to view GPS derived information in any way you choose! Now YOU can create that GPS application you've been dreaming of!

The idea behind GPS skinner is to allow any user to customize the application to suit themselves without knowing anything about programming.

TomTom 5 Map updates

I have an old h2215 that I was planning use as a dedicated GPS. I was wondering if anyone knew if TomTom was still giving map updates to the Navigator 5, since that is the version that will work with my old PDA. If you have any recommendation on software that keeps their maps fairly up to date and will work with my PDA, let me know.

Receiver problem

In a nutshell here is the issue. I have a new to me (but used) 5455 running the latest available flashes and updates. (2003)
I have a BT-308 Bluetooth Receiver.
Software installed (the HP iPaq Navigation). PDA sees the receiver and connects, but for some reason the receiver can not find where it is on the face of the earth. Is the RECEIVER BAD? (worked before on another iPaq .. should be working now!)
FULLY charged and left on the charger .. solid green indicator light.
Help!

GPS and WMP

I have a Garmin Mobile 10 using Bluetooth to use GPS (maps on card)in a AT&T 8525 w/Mobile 6. It works great however, I cannot use the media player while the GPS is active.

I hoped that I could use the WMP while using the GPS. I can play music and when I receive a phone call, the music stops. When the call disconnects, the music resumes. Can I do the same thing with my GPS?

Thanks,

ASUS 636 "GPS Not Found"

Hi All!

I am new in this forum.
Can anybody help me out: I launch "Destinator" from the SD card. It runs beautifully but... never finds the GPS.
The lady sends me on my way after route calculation, and then tells me "No GPS Signal"
What should I do?

DK
