Marketing tricks you. Internal 4 GB stated but when you got the device its barely 100 Mb RAM. I as others use Outlook also as a database. Its easy synchronized and always with you and open. Sinze doing this over a period of now 7 years it kind of gotten large.

RIM Introduces the First Touch-Screen Blackberry

Research in Motion today announced its first touch-screen Blackberry – the Blackberry Storm. This Blackberry looks similar to an iPhone and only has a touch-screen keyboard unlike other Blackberries which have a physical keyboard. RIM has however introduced a unique feature in the touch screen of this device which is not there on the iPhone. The touch-screen of Storm has a tactile interface that actually depresses ever so slightly when the screen is pressed.

Application installation problems WM6

I recently got an HTC PPC 6800, my carrier is Alltel, and I'm having trouble installing certain programs. I download the zip file for programs, extract them, but all I get is several different files with names like 0CAB3F98.004, SMARTP~1.001, and most all of them have a _setup XML document. I transfer all of these files to my phone via ActiveSync, but I am unable to open any of the files once they are on my phone. I seem to have this problem with many of the applications I'm trying to put on my phone.

I utilize some of my Outlook contacts as a database. Right now I have up to 30,000 characters of text entered in such contact note entries.

Even with the new 8GB i900 Omnia (6.1) from Samsung the content of notes in an Outlook contact is cut off.At 128 or 256 MB its understandable but with 8GB?Can the amount of characters synchronized be changed?

This might be of interest to any of you with bad hands as I have. I have SlideIT V1.15 installed in my Axim X51v and use this when I am away from home. Back at my Office I place the Axim in it's cradle and it synchronizes with my lap top whence I can print or email. When writing in the Office I run MyMobile on the laptop and this allows the mouse cursor to travel across to the Axim and takes the place of the stylus.

I replaced my Palm Treo700w with a Samsung i760 / WM6.1. The i760 is a great phone but the Treo had nice enhancements such as the ability to disable the touch screen while in-call. Is this available in WM6.1? Are there any 3rd party utilities to accomplish this?
