Using WPA-Personal on HP iPAQ rx3115

Hello i'm using the security standard WPA-Personal on my D-Link router and i was wondering if there is a way to use this standard on my HP iPAQ rx3115 currently i only have the options of:

WEP

WPA

WPA-PSK

I thought WPA-PSK would have worked because it allows me to enter a key but unfortuanlly not. Does anyone know of a workaround to this issue without changing my router settings?

Thanks,

John

Share Dvd tools with Mac users!
Here is the result I want to share with Mac users:
1) Cost/Performance: Everybody wants to gain more with less money.
2) Speed: Nobody wants to waste too much time waiting.
3) Profile: Of course we want our software can convert all kinds of video formats.
4) Personal Demands: For example, someone just wants to convert part of the DVD video, or others want the special output video format like PSP compliant forms and etc.
5) Easy to use: we want to make things easy.

[acer N10] wi-fi cf card problem

About 6 months ago I bought an acer n10 and then a week ago I also bought a compact flash wi-fi card (fujitsu-siemens c-1100)but I can't make it work!

First i installed drivers on the cd
then i downloaded new drivers from FuSi site
then googling here and there i discovered that C-1100 is a re-labeled xi815 so i tried to use drivers for this card...
Finally I downloaded generic drivers for prism chipset used by the cf.

Hi, newbie here! Please excuse my ignorance as I'm a bit of a technophobe...I have recently inherited the above iPAQ and was assured it was wifi enabled? The only wifi I can detect is bluetooth ans obviously this is not what I need, I'm sure this can be done as everywhere I look it states the unit is capable.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

iPAQ 210 and WiFi bug...

The iPAQ 210 has IMHO a bug in it's WiFi driver that incorrectly identifies all channels as "858512" So if software like WiFiFoFum is important to you, you might want to wait before purchasing one of these.

This does not effect "normal" WiFi operation, by the way.

connection woes iPAQ 5455

Here is the story .. just got a used 5455 and am in the process of setting it up. (several problems .. but one at a time!)
Internet connection can be made both with the built in and using an SD card. I get on line .. just that it will not STAY on line (my own network .. two wireless desktops are running on same. WHY is this thing shutting down? It will go back to the opening page on the PDA in just a few seconds. (apparently it is not detecting that it is on line, from what I can ascertain.)
running 2003 with the latest updates and flashes.

Irrelevent access points and wep security code

I run a simple WEP level of security at home, it's all we need. However, my HTC TyTn II PDA phone (WM6) never seems to permanently remember the security key.

I run WPA security at the office and no problems there. I have a DLink wireless router N router at the office and a B/G Microsoft wireless router at home.

And is there a way of permanently making the system aware that I'm not interested in the neighbours' access points as I'm repeatedly being offered connections.

Thanks in advance!

Hi, I tried to find an answere in past postings but had no luck. I just purchased a WaveLAN Gold Roamabout card and can't get it to connect through my LAN. It is a Telus ADSL Gateway. The card boots, I get a "all green staircase" graphic, and the window says, "Network Name:rwillihn, Connection: Excellent, BS [00-18-d1-9e-ca-c4], Channel 8, Encription: WEP". But when I call up Internet Explorer and type in something like "www.google.com" in the address box I get (1)the window for "Dial-Up Connection" for Internet Explorer or (2)the message "DHCP was unable to obtain an IP address.

Wi-Fi cutting out randomly

I have a strange one. The inbuilt Wi-Fi works perfectly with my WPA-enabled D-Link router, authenticating automatically in seconds. However, if any power saving mode is enabled, the Wi-Fi cuts out without any indication (The Wi-Fi still shows green in iPAQ Wireless) in around 2 minutes. Any Net activity just stops on the device. I've tried resetting both router and hard-resetting the device but no avail. This seems to happen at any distance from the router.
