Memory Card problem...

Hey Guy's, I have the VZW Moto.Q9c with the 6.1 update, which I did a few days ago. But the problem I'm having is with my 4 GB card which was working fine before and even up to a couple of days after the upgrade. ( Mentioning that to indicate the upgrade is not the problem ). But suddenly when I would put the card in the SanDisk Reader, then into any USB on my Laptop; Win. XP Pro. S/P 3, I.E. 7, I'll get the Hardware icon on the Taskbar but The Card's Drive (Drive D) in "My Computer" does'nt show up.

Storage Card Problems

I'm have some storage card problems with Verizon 6900. When I do a soft reset, the software seems to lose its way to the storage card. Some programs I have loaded continue to work, but in reduced mode. Others simplt disappear. Can any one help?

Also, I was thinking about getting some form of sytem back-up program to preserve the current system image, including the storage card. Does anyone have any good software?

firmware upgrade for xv6800

Verizon needs to get their act together and offer a firmware upgrade for its xv6800 in order to compete against Sprint (are they still a competitor?) and the Iphone. That upgrade should include wm6.1, GPS functionality, and Rev.A.. These features can be obtained through various "hack" sites so what is wrong with Verizon's tech department?

Data plan questions

I went to verizon and they told me a "personal" data plan is $30/month and a "business" data plan is $44/month. I can't access my companies exchange server to have outlook mail sent, so I push it to a gmail account and check it.

What is the difference b/t the two plans? I.e., if I do get access to the exchange server, will they automatically then increase my pricing to $44?

Thanks in advance!

Are the Email Files from Pocket Outlook Hidden?

Is there any way to backup email files from Pocket Outlook to PST files on a PC. ActiveSync keeps telling me it wants to delete all of my email messages on my PDA -- the exact opposite of what is needed. I want to back these files up for safe keeping, not delete them. I am not interested in synchronizing, only copying.

Equipment is a Verizon (US Starcomm or Audiovox) 6700vx running PocketPC. However, this is not an equipment issue, something is clearly wrong with the operating system.

Verizon Wireless Sync Problem

I have a Motorola Q from verizon wireless. I get alot of email and have found that the verizon wireless that aggregates the email does NOT automatically delete emails when I delete either in my laptop's outlook program or when I delete it via the Q.

The email builds up on the vzw server to a point that it no longer pushes it to the Q.

After spending more than 12-15 hours on the telephone with verizon wireless techinical support (multiple levels) they tell me there is no solution but to go onto the vzw website and manually delete emails when it isn't working.

How-to increase system memory on xv6700?

Hello,

I am a xv6700 Pocket PC user for about 4 years. I have enjoyed it completly. I just recently added a new line to my shared plane to allow me a line to talk on even when I am surfing the net. I do allot of traveling and the wifi does me know good, since most of the time I am not in an area that has one.

Since I will not be using the phone part of my Pocket PC except for the modem. I would like to see if there is a way to remove the files that uses the phone to allow me more space.

Activesync not working on XV6700

Hi,

My Activesync is not communicating with my XV6700. I have no idea why and need to get this fixed. It has been this way for months.

I have tried to:

Download new versions of activesync on my pc (XP), and currently have 4.5 on there.

I have tried to set up new partnerships between the pc and 6700.

I have soft reset my 6700 and rebooted my desktop after the install.
