Sharp/Willcom D4 - maybe it is your handheld replacement?

http://www.pocketables.net/2008/08/review-willcom.html

I like many of you love the great handhelds of the 1990's and have been searching for a replacement. While it is not perfect as the battery life is only 3 hours, it is a full Vista computer that runs Vista very well and will fit in your jacket pocket! It can be found at Conics.net; it is a little pricey but it can be your sole mobile pocket handheld full PC.

Do you still have a landline phone?

I've been reading a lot about how people are ditching their landline phones and just using their mobile. i've been thinking about getting rid of mine but wanted to ask around about it first.

so how many of you still have a land line? the main reason i would keep mine is for faxing but i don't do that very much. any feedback would be great.

Thanks!

Heart attack GPS cellphone

We are Internet and cell phone novices, and are writing you in desperation because our father has a severe heart condition which can cause a sudden heart attack at any time. He is otherwise in fair health, and can walk, go places, etc. On the cardiologist's advice we have purchased a portable defibrillator to use which we carry around when we go out with him. At home he wears a LifeAlert pendant which he can press to activate the system operator who has been instructed to call 911 for a heart attack condition if our father is unable to speak to the LifeAlert operator.

Teaching an Old Dog New Tricks (again!): .NET Comp

Attention, H/PC Pro users!

Something new has been added: a version of the .NET Compact Framework 1.0 (Service Pack 3) that works in devices running Windows CE 2.11! (The developer, dstefanov, has actually put together builds for CE 2.0 as well, though we haven't gotten any .NET CF apps working on any CE 2.0 devices yet.)

Downloading Games to XV6700

I have just purchased the XV6700, I like everything about it so far. I donot have internet access so I download to my PC and then to the PDA. However, I cannot figure out where to sync the downloaded mobile PC game I want to use. The game folder is in the start file, but that is not an option for where to put it in ActiveSync to get it to the right place on the PDA. Anyone have any ideas? I have downloaded the exe file into my PC, now I just need to know how to get it to the PDA...Thanks
