David Brown

About Me

Bio: David H. Brown is the senior vice president of Advanced Wireless Services for Brightpoint, Inc. He began his wireless career in the early 1990’s as a representative for Nokia to the automotive companies in Detroit, placing the first wireless handsets into General Motors. Dave was also responsible for all Nokia’s US distributors during his time as Nokia’s Sales Director. Dave joined Brightpoint in 1997 as Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the US. He also led the Logistics and Subscriber Services business unit at Brightpoint and was involved in transforming Brightpoint into a service provider for both manufacturers and carriers. In early 2005, Dave helped launch Brightpoint’s new Advanced Wireless Services (AWS) business unit. David.brown@brightpoint.com
